The optimum film suspension height for your particular scanner unit may actually vary from the basic 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 mm suspension heights provided by your current holder. Our infinitely variable height holder allows you to compensate for this difference and can adjust higher than 3.5 mm!

Allows you to easily scan two whole strips of 120/220 film frames at one time!

Advantages compared to the OEM Epson Holder

Helps maintain film flatness - even if the film is cut to odd lengths
- T-Lock inserts can be placed at any position along the film scanning apertures (the actual aperture/window for scanning) of the Dual MF Film Holderä. (T-locks do require about 4 mm of frame spacing between frames if you don’t want any masking to occur.)
- Allows you to crop down to just one film frame in a strip for maximum flatness with that film frame during scanning if so desired
Scans Longer film strips
- Each of the two film channels can scan 213 mm from each of the two strips in one pass (this is the actual image length that can be scanned in one pass) and the film channels can hold/accommodate film strips up to 240 mm in total length (again, only 213 mm can be scanned in a single pass without shifting the film)
Variable film frame scanning length with the T-Lock system (includes 8 T-Locks)
- Depending on the size of the gap between frames, some 6x7 users may be able to shift the film in the holder without needing to flip it in order to then scan a third frame per strip
Increased width in the film channels (recessed area where film is placed) for more adaptability
- Accommodates film from cameras where the camera does not center the image on the film strip so the full image can be scanned without any of it being cropped off
Infinitely adjustable height means you are able to utilize more than just 3 film suspension height settings. For instance, you can achieve heights of 2.75 mm, 3.3 mm, 3.75 mm, or whatever your scanner needs.
- Provides an adjustment range from approximately 1.5 mm to over 4.5 mm if needed

Durable construction and components that are cut using very accurate laser technology
- Solid construction – a new three layer construction that is even more solid than the highly regarded original MF Film Holderä !
- Hand-applied matte finish on surfaces to minimize the chance of stray light aberrations caused by reflective glare

Provides additional workflow flexibility

Anti-Newton Ring glass "ANR Insert" is available as an option to help flatten particularly difficult films or longer length panoramic film
